This study aims to analyze the potential of leading sectors in Bogor City for 2018–2025. The research is motivated by Bogor City's economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, although its structure is still dominated by the Wholesale and Retail Trade sector. The increase in GRDP has not been able to explain which sectors are base sectors, have competitiveness, and are feasible to be prioritized as regional leading sectors. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data of GRDP at constant prices of Bogor City and West Java Province for 2018–2025. The analysis techniques used include Location Quotient, Shift Share, and Klassen Typology. The results show that based on Location Quotient, there are 14 base sectors and 3 non-base sectors. Based on Shift Share, sectors with relative competitiveness are indicated by positive KPPW values, especially Water Supply; Transportation and Warehousing; Accommodation and Food Services; Education Services; Health Services; and Other Services. The Klassen Typology results show that these sectors are in Quadrant I as advanced and rapidly growing sectors. Based on the integration of the three methods, the leading sectors of Bogor City are those six sectors. The results indicate that the dominant sector is not necessarily the main leading sector.
