Suara Profetis Kitab Mikha dalam Ruang Publik: Analisis Komposisi Teks dan Konstruksi Teologi Transformatif bagi Ketidakadilan Sosial di Indonesia

This article examines the Book of Micah as a source of public theology relevant to contemporary social crises in Indonesia. Through qualitative analysis of the text's compilation history and compositional structure, the study traces the dialectic between judgment and salvation oracles across Micah's redactional layers, attentive to their socio-historical context. A public theology approach is employed to read the relationship between Micah's prophetic message and the realities of social injustice, political corruption, economic exploitation, and moral crisis in Indonesia's public sphere. The findings show that Micah's theology is not merely normative but also sharply critical of social injustice, abuse of political power, and religious deviation. The book's structure reveals a pattern that contrasts the judgment of oppressive elites with hope for a restored, just community, reflecting divine justice that demands social accountability while offering restorative hope. Micah can thus be read as a transformative theological discourse that bridges ancient Jerusalem and present-day Indonesian realities. The article's contribution lies in constructing an Old Testament-based public theology that is interpretive, critical, contextual, and relevant to shaping public ethical consciousness in Indonesia. Abstrak Artikel ini mengkaji Kitab Mikha sebagai sumber teologi publik yang relevan bagi krisis sosial kontemporer di Indonesia. Melalui analisis kualitatif terhadap sejarah kompilasi dan struktur komposisi teks, penelitian ini menelusuri dialektika antara nubuat penghukuman dan keselamatan dalam berbagai lapisan redaksi Mikha, dengan memperhatikan konteks sosial-historisnya. Pendekatan teologi publik digunakan untuk membaca relasi antara pesan profetis Mikha dan realitas ketidakadilan sosial, korupsi kekuasaan, eksploitasi ekonomi, serta krisis moral di ruang publik Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teologi Kitab Mikha bersifat teologis-normatif sekaligus kritis terhadap ketidakadilan sosial, penyalahgunaan kekuasaan politik, dan penyimpangan religius. Struktur kitab memperlihatkan pola kontras antara penghukuman terhadap elit yang menindas dan pengharapan pemulihan komunitas yang berkeadilan, yang merefleksikan keadilan Allah yang menuntut pertanggungjawaban sosial sekaligus menghadirkan harapan pemulihan. Kitab Mikha dengan demikian dapat dibaca sebagai wacana teologis transfor-matif yang menjembatani dunia teks kuno Yerusalem dengan realitas Indonesia saat ini. Kontribusi artikel ini terletak pada konstruksi teologi publik berbasis Perjanjian Lama yang bersifat interpretatif, kritis, kontekstual, dan relevan bagi kesadaran etis masyarakat.
