Dominasi metode konvensional dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMK Negeri 5 Malang menyebabkan stagnasi kompetensi kognitif, di mana siswa cenderung pasif dan hanya menghafal fakta. Berdasarkan asesmen diagnostik awal, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada level rendah dengan skor rata-rata baseline 48,70. Fenomena ini menciptakan urgensi untuk menghadirkan inovasi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan era digital. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan solusi melalui platform ”Kak Sarah”, asisten virtual berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) yang mengintegrasikan algoritma Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) dan metode Socratic Mentoring. Teknologi ini dirancang untuk memicu dialog inkuiri mendalam guna menstimulasi nalar analisis siswa. Metode pelaksanaan menerapkan pendekatan partisipatif melalui fase persiapan, pelatihan guru, dan uji coba lapangan menggunakan desain quasi-experimental. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan dampak signifikan; rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas eksperimen meningkat tajam dari 48,70 menjadi 83,87 pada post-test, jauh mengungguli kelas kontrol yang hanya mencapai 63,22. Selain lonjakan performa akademik, respon antusias pengguna sebesar 87% menegaskan efektivitas sistem dalam menciptakan iklim belajar interaktif. Keberlanjutan program dijamin melalui penandatanganan Implementation Agreement dan alih teknologi sepenuhnya kepada mitra sekolah untuk penggunaan jangka panjang. Abstract The dominance of conventional methods in history learning at SMK Negeri 5 Malang has led to a stagnation in cognitive competence, where students tend to be passive and rely on rote memorization. Based on the initial diagnostic assessment, students' critical thinking skills were at a low level with a baseline average score of 48.70. This phenomenon creates an urgency to introduce learning innovations relevant to the digital era. This community service aims to implement a solution through the ”Kak Sarah” platform, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based virtual assistant integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) algorithms and the Socratic Mentoring method. This technology is designed to trigger deep inquiry dialogues to stimulate students' analytical reasoning. The implementation method applied a participatory approach through preparation phases, teacher training, and field trials using a quasi-experimental design. Evaluation results showed a significant impact; the average critical thinking score of students in the experimental class increased sharply from 48.70 to 83.87 in the post-test, far outperforming the control class which only reached 63.22. In addition to the surge in academic performance, an enthusiastic user response of 87% confirmed the system's effectiveness in creating an interactive learning climate. Program sustainability is ensured through the signing of an Implementation Agreement and full technology transfer to the school partner for long-term use.
