<![CDATA[AbstractEvidence is something that is important in proof. The proof that the suspect is guilty or not depends on the evidence that has been used in committing a crime or crime. Therefore, the State Confiscated Objects Storage House was made to protect and ensure the integrity of evidence in accordance with Article 44 of the Criminal Procedure Code. In the process of proving there must be evidence and suspects, but in the process of proving at trial the suspect has not been found for a long time so that the evidence is damaged, so what happens is that it is destroyed or disappears by itself. So it is hoped that there will be coordination from the investigators and the RUPBASAN and of course the role of the government in regulating the law. Keywords: Evidence, confiscated objects, Rupbasan, investigator. Abstrak Barang bukti merupakan sesuatu yang peting dalam pembuktian. Terbuktinya tersangka bersalah atau tidak tergantung dari barang bukti yang telah digunakan dalam melakukan tindak pidana atau kejahatan. Maka dari itu dibuatlah Rumah Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara (RUPBASAN) untuk melindungi dan menjamin keutuhan suatu barang bukti sesuai dengan Pasal 44 KUHAP. Dalam proses pembuktian haruslah ada barang bukti dan tersangka, namun dalam pada proses pembuktian di persidangan tersangka belum di temukan dalam jangka waktu yang lama sehingga terhadap barang bukti mengalami kerusakan, sehingga yang terjadi yaitu musnah atau menghilang dengan sendirinya. Sehingga diharapkan adanya koordinasi dari pihak penyidik dan pihak RUPBASAN serta tentunya peran pemerintah dalam mangatur Undang-undang.Kata kunci : Barang bukti, Benda sitaan, Rupbasan, penyidik.]]>
