PENGALAMAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN JASMANI DALAM MEMBENTUK IDENTITAS SEBAGAI CALON GURU MELALUI PROSES PERKULIAHAN

Abstract: This qualitative research with a phenomenological design aims to understand the experiences of PJKR FIK UNM students in forming their professional identity as prospective teachers. A total of 20 students were selected as participants using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The research results show that the identity formation of prospective teachers takes place through increasing role awareness, teaching practices, the role of lecturers as models, peer interactions, academic/pedagogical challenges, and self-reflection. The findings reveal that this identity is formed dynamically and continuously during college. It is concluded that universities need to provide a learning environment that supports the development of professional identity in order to produce competent, reflective and committed physical education teachers. Keywords: Professional Identity, Prospective Teachers, Lecture Process   Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi ini bertujuan memahami pengalaman mahasiswa Jurusan PJKR FIK UNM dalam membentuk identitas profesional sebagai calon guru. Sebanyak 20 mahasiswa dipilih sebagai partisipan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembentukan identitas calon guru berlangsung melalui peningkatan kesadaran peran, praktik mengajar, peran dosen sebagai model, interaksi teman sebaya, tantangan akademik/pedagogik, serta refleksi diri. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa identitas ini terbentuk secara dinamis dan berkelanjutan selama perkuliahan. Disimpulkan bahwa perguruan tinggi perlu menyediakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan identitas profesional agar menghasilkan guru pendidikan jasmani yang kompeten, reflektif, dan berkomitmen.
