This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing the values of the Lampung Sungkai Cangget traditional culture on the social interest of eleventh-grade students at SMAN 2 Kotabumi. A quantitative survey approach was employed involving 80 students selected proportionally. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through normality, homogeneity, linearity, and simple linear regression tests. The findings revealed that both students' social interest and the implementation of the values of the Lampung Sungkai Cangget traditional culture were categorized as high. The regression analysis indicated that the implementation of the Cangget cultural values had a positive and significant effect on students' social interest, with a coefficient of determination of 65.4%. These findings suggest that strengthening local culture-based education is an effective strategy for enhancing students' social awareness, empathy, and cooperation.
