Hypertension as a major health issue among the elderly increases the risk of side effects from long-term pharmacological treatments, necessitating safe non-pharmacological alternatives like yoga. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of yoga therapy in lowering blood pressure among elderly individuals with hypertension in Lepasan Village, RT 15, 16, and 17. The research utilized a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach involving 25 hypertensive elderly participants selected through total sampling from May 11–23, 2026. The intervention consisted of health education followed by demonstrations and practices of standing yoga movements (warm-up, core, relaxation) lasting 10–15 minutes. Blood pressure was measured before and after the therapy using a tensimeter. Descriptive analysis showed that the majority of respondents (96%) were female. Post-intervention results indicated that 68% of participants experienced a decrease in systolic blood pressure and 44% experienced a decrease in diastolic blood pressure. Additionally, participants demonstrated the ability to practice yoga techniques independently.
