<![CDATA[This study aims to enhance students’ English pronunciation skills through the use of children’s songs as a learning medium for eighth-grade students of SMPN 1 Sakra Timur. The research employed a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental group taught using children’s songs and a control group taught using conventional teaching methods. The participants consisted of eighth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pronunciation tests administered before and after the treatment. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ pronunciation skills, particularly in aspects of stress, intonation, and sound accuracy. Students in the experimental group demonstrated higher post-test scores compared to those in the control group. The findings indicate that children’s songs create an enjoyable learning atmosphere, increase students’ motivation, and facilitate better pronunciation practice. Therefore, the use of children’s songs is effective in improving English pronunciation skills and is recommended as an alternative instructional strategy in English language teaching at the junior high school level.]]>
