Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) melalui media loose parts untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Siti Padmirah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan subjek 16 anak kelompok B (10 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta dokumentasi (foto dan video kegiatan), kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi STEAM berbasis loose parts (menggunakan bahan lokal dan daur ulang seperti batu kerikil, stik es krim, biji kedelai, dan daun kering) berjalan secara praktis, terstruktur, kontekstual, serta sesuai dengan tema Kurikulum Merdeka. Anak menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada semua indikator motorik halus, terutama kemampuan mencubit, menggenggam, koordinasi mata dan tangan, serta ketepatan gerakan jari. Selain itu, anak menjadi lebih antusias, mandiri, dan kreatif selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan STEAM dengan media loose parts merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif dan mudah diaplikasi di PAUD. Karena memanfaatkan bahan murah, ramah lingkungan, serta mendukung perkembangan holistik anak. Abstract. This study aims to describe the implementation of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach through loose parts media to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5–6 years at Siti Padmirah Pucangsewu Kindergarten. The study used a qualitative case study approach with 16 children in group B (10 boys and 6 girls) as subjects. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and the principal, and documentation (photos and videos of activities), then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results showed that the implementation of STEAM based on loose parts (using local and recycled materials such as pebbles, ice cream sticks, soybeans, and dry leaves) was practical, structured, contextual, and in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum theme. Children showed significant improvements in all fine motor indicators, especially the ability to pinch, grasp, eye-hand coordination, and accuracy of finger movements. In addition, children became more enthusiastic, independent, and creative during the learning process. This study concluded that integrating the STEAM approach with loose parts media is an effective and easily applicable learning model in early childhood education (ECE) because it utilizes inexpensive, environmentally friendly materials and supports children's holistic development.
