ABSTRACT The increasing demands of industry require vocational high school graduates to possess not only technical competencies but also collaborative skills. However, students' learning outcomes in the Basic Mechanical Engineering course at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman remained unsatisfactory, as most students failed to achieve the Minimum Learning Mastery Criteria. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the Collaborative Learning model using the Buzz Group technique assisted by Google Classroom in improving students' learning outcomes. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed. The study involved 67 tenth-grade Mechanical Engineering students, consisting of 33 students in the experimental class and 34 students in the control class. Data were collected through achievement tests and analyzed using the Independent Samples t-test, N-Gain, and effect size. The findings revealed that the experimental class achieved a significantly higher posttest mean score (86.93) than the control class (73.99) (p < 0.05). The experimental class also obtained a high N-Gain score (0.7149), while the control class achieved a moderate score (0.4047). Furthermore, Cohen's d of 1.7256 indicated a large practical effect. Therefore, the proposed learning model effectively improved students' learning outcomes in Basic Mechanical Engineering. ABSTRAK Tuntutan dunia industri mengharuskan lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan memiliki kompetensi teknis sekaligus kemampuan kolaboratif, namun hasil belajar mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Mesin di SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman masih belum optimal karena sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model Collaborative Learning tipe Buzz Group berbantuan Google Classroom dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 67 siswa yang terdiri atas 33 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-test, N-Gain, dan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 86,93 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 73,99 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05). Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,7149 termasuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,4047 berkategori sedang. Nilai Cohen's d sebesar 1,7256 menunjukkan pengaruh yang besar. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran tersebut efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Mesin.
