<![CDATA[Blang Padang FieldBanda Acehis an urban green open space designated as a public area to accommodate diverse community activities. Its strategic location and high historical value attract many visitors. However, accessibility for persons with disabilities, particularly the visually impaired and those with mobility impairments, remains inadequate. These groups have equal needs and rights to utilize the public space. This study aims to formulate concepts for providing accessibility for visually impaired and mobility-impaired persons at Blang Padang Field. A qualitative method was employed through observation and documentation.The results reveal that supporting facilities such as parking areas, pedestrian pathways, culinary zones, and restrooms do not meet accessibility standards as stipulated in the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works Regulation No.30/PRT/M/2006 and the Accessible Building Design Manual by SAPPK ITB. Parking lacks designated spaces for disabled users; pedestrian paths are damaged and unsafe for wheelchair users and the visually impaired; culinary areas do not facilitate ease of access; and restrooms lack facilities for persons with disabilities. These deficiencies hinder the participation and independence of disabled individuals in utilizing the public space.Based on these findings, recommendations include the provision of accessible parking spaces, renovation and widening of pedestrian paths with tactile indicators for the visually impaired, redesign of culinary areas to enhance accessibility, and construction of accessible restrooms. Implementing these improvements is expected to promote equal rights and social inclusion for persons with disabilities within Blang Padang Field.]]>
