AN ANALYSIS OF LINGUISTIC POLITENESS IN THE COLLECTION OF CRIKAK PANJEBAR SEMANGAT, AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2021 EDITIONThis study aims to identify the form of application of the principles of language politeness in the collection of crikak Panjebar Semangat August-September 2021 edition. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a pragmatic approach. The data collection technique in this research is document analysis. The data used in this study are in the form of dialogues or utterances contained in the collection of crikak Panjebar Semangat August-September 2021 edition. The results of the research that have been carried out have found compliance with three language politeness principles, namely, the kurmat maxim, the empan Papan maxim, and the tepa selira maxim. The politeness principle found in the form of the maxim of "kurmat" which has 10 data, the principle of the maxim of "empan Papan" which has 10 data, and the principle of the maxim of "tepa selira" which has 5 data. From all the data analyzed, there was no utterance that met the principle of the maxim "andhap asor".
