This study aims to determine the effect of using Smart Cube media on improving the basic writing skills of first-grade students at MIS Maura El-Mumtaz. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 58 students. Data analysis techniques include normality tests, paired samples correlation tests, and t-tests. The results of the paired samples t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest (7.7414) and posttest (9.1724) scores, with a t-value of -5.844 and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. This proves that the use of Smart Cube media has a significant effect on improving students' basic writing skills. Although the correlation between pretest and posttest scores is relatively low (0.139), the effectiveness of the media is still statistically proven. Therefore, Smart Cube media can be used as an innovative learning alternative in improving the early literacy skills of elementary school students.
