<![CDATA[The study addressed the significant social and economic challenges faced by the elderly population in Indonesia, highlighting the need for holistic pastoral care to meet their spiritual and social needs, closing a gap on improving elder quality of life through comprehensive church-based support. The aim was to explore holistic pastoral care strategies for the elderly within the Independent Baptist Church Indonesia. The study was conducted in the Independent Baptist Church Indonesia, involving church leaders, policy makers, and elderly care recipients. It used purposive sampling and qualitative methods to gather data from stakeholders involved in pastoral care for the elderly. Findings showed that holistic pastoral care, combining spiritual support and social assistance, effectively addressed mental health challenges and improved peace and acceptance among the elderly. The study concluded that comprehensive pastoral care in church settings is crucial for enhancing elderly well-being, recommending integrated spiritual and social support approaches.]]>
