<![CDATA[The Book of Ruth portrays humanitarian values that emerge amid the family, economic, and social crises experienced by Naomi and Ruth. This study aims to analyze how Ruth’s loyalty reflects humanitarian values and their relevance to contemporary society. The research problem focuses on the manifestation of loyalty, sacrifice, social solidarity, acceptance of foreigners, and hope within the narrative of the Book of Ruth. This study employs a qualitative method using a hermeneutical approach and literature review to interpret the text based on its historical, social, and theological contexts. The findings reveal that Ruth’s loyalty became the foundation for sacrifice, social concern, acceptance of vulnerable groups, and hope that fostered the process of restoration. The presence of Boaz and the Bethlehem community further demonstrates that restoration does not occur individually but through relationships built upon love and social responsibility. The study concludes that loyalty, sacrifice, solidarity, acceptance, and hope constitute essential foundations of human resilience in times of crisis. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of these five values as a unified process of restoration, positioning the story of Ruth as an ethical model of humanity that remains relevant to modern society.]]>
