This study is motivated by the importance of teacher professionalism in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in improving the quality of education. Teachers, as the main actors in the learning process, are required not only to master subject matter but also to possess pedagogical, social, personal, and professional competencies. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of teacher professionalism in realizing quality education. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, utilizing various secondary sources such as books, journals, and other relevant references. Data analysis is conducted descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teacher professionalism plays a strategic role in enhancing the quality of education, both in terms of learning processes and outcomes. Quality education is not only focused on academic achievement but also on character building, skill development, and the cultivation of students’ spiritual values. Efforts to improve educational quality can be achieved through strengthening teacher competencies, implementing innovative learning strategies, creating a conducive learning environment, and fostering collaboration among schools, families, and communities. Therefore, strengthening the professionalism of MI teachers is a key factor in achieving holistic and quality education.
