<![CDATA[Learning strategy is one of the important components in the educational process, especially in Islamic Religious Education learning. Learning strategies serve as guidelines for educators in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities so that educational objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. This article aims to explain the definition, position, and function of learning strategies in Islamic Religious Education. The method used in writing this article is a literature study by reviewing various sources such as books, journals, and relevant scientific references. The results of the study indicate that learning strategies have a very important position because they serve as the basis for determining learning methods, techniques, and approaches. In addition, learning strategies also function to assist educators in creating an active, effective, and enjoyable learning atmosphere, and to help students understand the material optimally.
