This study aims to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in grade 4A students at SD Negeri 104607 Sei Rotan. Data were collected through a 10-item multiple-choice questionnaire covering aspects of capitalization, prepositional use, punctuation, standard loanwords, title writing, affixed words, and titles. The study subjects consisted of 21 students. The analysis showed that the highest error rates were in the use of the preposition "di" (85.7%), spelling of affixed words (71.4%), and standard loanwords (71.4%). The average student score was 34.3 on a scale of 100, which is classified as poor. These findings emphasize the need for systematic and contextual reinforcement of spelling instruction in elementary schools.
