<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the implementation of practicum-based learning in strengthening elementary school students’ conceptual understanding of acid–base materials. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with data collection techniques conducted through article searches in the Google Scholar database using Publish or Perish (PoP) software. The article selection process was carried out using the Covidence platform through title, abstract, and full-text screening stages based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Out of 100 identified articles, 9 articles met the criteria and were analyzed in this study. Data analysis techniques were conducted through synthesis and content analysis of relevant research findings. The results showed that practicum-based learning, particularly through the use of natural indicators, was effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of acid–base concepts, science process skills, and learning independence. In addition, practicum activities using natural materials were considered more contextual, economical, and easier to implement in elementary schools. Therefore, practicum-based learning can be an effective science learning strategy that is appropriate for the characteristics of elementary school students.]]>
