The problem in this study is caused by students’ low critical thinking skills, especially in analyzing simple problems in science learning, causing students to rely on memorization. In addition, the learning process has not been active because some students still lack the confidence to ask questions and express opinions. This study aims to determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and science learning outcomes of grade IVB students at State Elementary School 182 Pekanbaru. The research used a quantitative method with a correlation approach involving 27 students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using correlation, validity, and reliability tests. The results showed a significant relationship between critical thinking skills and science learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.014 < 0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This study is expected to provide input for teachers in improving students’ critical thinking skills in elementary school science learning.
