Smoking behavior among teenagers is still a serious problem, especially because association environmental factors have a profound effect on them. Teenagers are at the stage of self-discovery, so they are vulnerable to the influence of social behavior around, including smoking. Through a literature study approach, this study aims to explore the influence of association environments on smoking habits among adolescents. The methodology applied is a literature review covering national articles and journals published between 2023 and 2025. Analysis of five articles shows that smoking habits among teenagers are influenced by a variety of factors, such as friends, family, media, and personality. Peers are the most dominant factor in promoting smoking. On the other hand, family influences show varying results, depending on each individual's condition and character. In addition, many factors are intertwined, including personality and media that influence adolescents ' attitudes and decisions about smoking. Findings suggest that smoking habits among adolescents are a complex phenomenon and are shaped by many factors. Therefore, prevention efforts must be made comprehensively by involving family and social environment as well as improving youth understanding of the effects of smoking.
