The development of digital technology has encouraged the transformation of payment systems toward cashless transactions through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). The use of QRIS has increased significantly across various sectors, including higher education institutions. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as low digital literacy, unstable internet connections, and users’ concerns regarding transaction security. This study aims to analyze the influence of transaction security and convenience in using QRIS on customer satisfaction at the Food Court of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to customers who used QRIS as a payment instrument. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to analyze the data. The findings indicate that security has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Convenience also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, security and convenience significantly influence customer satisfaction, contributing 92.1% to the variation in customer satisfaction, while the remaining 7.9% is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that improving QRIS security and ease of use can enhance customer satisfaction in digital payment transactions.
