<![CDATA[The Indonesian language at the elementary school level has a significant contribution in shaping students' personalities, particularly in the application of good manners when communicating. However, many students have yet to be able to use Indonesian in an orderly and ethical manner within the school environment. This study aims to analyze the role of Indonesian language use in forming polite attitudes among elementary school students. The approach used is descriptive qualitative by reviewing various recent literature sources. The analysis results indicate that habituation of using good and polite Indonesian has a positive impact on students' attitudes, both in responding to teachers and in interacting with peers. Teachers occupy a strategic position as role models in building an ethical language culture at school. This study emphasizes the role of language as a means of communication as well as a strategic medium in the character-building process of elementary school students.]]>
