<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the color changes in litmus paper and turmeric indicators in identifying the acidic, basic, and neutral properties of several types of solutions in science practicum activities. The method used is a simple experiment by testing several samples, namely lime juice, vinegar water, soapy water, and plain water. The test was carried out using red and blue litmus paper and turmeric indicator as a natural indicator. The results of the study showed that litmus paper provided a color change response according to the nature of the solution, where blue litmus turned red in acidic solutions and red litmus turned blue in basic solutions, while neutral solutions did not cause a color change. In addition, the turmeric indicator turned reddish in basic solutions, while in acidic and neutral solutions it remained yellow. Based on these results, it can be concluded that both indicators are effective for determining the nature of solutions, and can help improve understanding of acid-base concepts through science practicums.]]>
