<![CDATA[The management of financing documents is a crucial aspect in the operations of Islamic banking, particularly in ensuring administrative order, data security, and the smooth processing of customer financing. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) FC Palembang, as one of the financing service units, is required to manage documents systematically, accurately, and based on information technology. This study aims to analyze the customer financing document management system in the Financing Channel division of BSI Palembang, identify the obstacles encountered, and explain the mitigation efforts undertaken. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, direct practice, interviews, and documentation studies during Field Work Practice (PKL) from January 8 to February 6, 2026. The results show that financing document management at BSI FC Palembang is carried out through a structured series of stages, including document reception and verification, grouping and classification, digitization (scanning), index numbering, digital archiving, and physical document storage. This process is supported by an information system and clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). However, several challenges remain, including dependence on technology systems, risk of human error, time-consuming scanning processes, and limited HR competence in digital archiving. SWOT analysis shows that the system has strengths in digital archiving and standardized numbering, opportunities in technological advances and digital transformation regulations, yet faces threats from cybersecurity risks and financial institution competition. The study concludes that professional financing document management significantly contributes to improving service quality and customer trust at BSI.
