<![CDATA[This study aims to examine how the supervisory function is carried out through academic supervision by madrasah principals to improve teacher performance. The approach used in this study is qualitative, employing a literature review method. Information was gathered from various scientific articles discussing academic supervision and teacher performance. The research findings indicate that academic supervision is one form of implementing supervisory functions in educational management that plays a significant role in improving teacher performance. The academic supervision process includes planning, observing the learning process, providing feedback, and following up on the results of the supervision. Various studies indicate that academic supervision conducted in a planned and sustained manner can enhance teachers’ competencies, professionalism, and the quality of instruction they deliver. Therefore, academic supervision serves as a crucial tool in supporting the improvement of educational quality in madrasahs.]]>
