<![CDATA[Reading interest is an important factor that influences students' success in the learning process at the elementary school level. However, there are still students who have low interest in reading, making it necessary to use attractive learning media that are appropriate to students' characteristics. This study aims to describe the implementation of alphabet card media in improving the reading interest of second-grade students at SD Negeri Ciawet. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of second-grade teachers and second-grade students of SD Negeri Ciawet. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of alphabet card media was able to create a more active, interesting, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students demonstrated increased enthusiasm, attention, and participation in reading activities. The use of alphabet cards helped students recognize letters, arrange words, and understand simple reading materials more easily. In addition, alphabet card media provided more concrete learning experiences in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students. Therefore, the implementation of alphabet card media can be an effective alternative learning medium to improve the reading interest of second-grade students at SD Negeri Ciawet.]]>
