Low student learning outcomes and motivation in Indonesian language learning are caused by a lack of varied learning methods and a lack of active student participation. This improvement demonstrates that the Active Debate method not only improves student learning outcomes but also fosters critical thinking, self-confidence, and effective communication skills.
