<![CDATA[The still low academic achievement of elementary school students in mathematics on the topic of plane geometry triggers the urgency of implementing reliable teaching instruments to bridge students to assimilate the material more realistically. The purpose of this research is to detect the impact of the use of flashcards on students' academic achievement on the material of plane shapes in grade III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 9 Ngawi. This study adopted a quantitative method through a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group. The study sample included 42 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through learning outcome tests that had met the criteria of validity and reliability, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Samples t-tests. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class increased from 60.47 to 85.71, while the control class only showed an increase from 60.23 to 61.90. The statistical findings to prove the hypothesis showed a 2-tailed significance probability of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the intervention using flashcards had a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, flashcards are suitable for application as an efficient instructional instrument option for two-dimensional geometry topics.
