This study aims to determine the effect of using 3D block teaching aids with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on students' conceptual understanding ability in the topic of cuboids in grade VIII of junior high school. Observations and interviews indicated that students' understanding of cuboid geometry was still very weak; students found it difficult to imagine the actual shape from mere drawings. The lack of concrete examples or real models made the concept of cuboids still appear abstract. This research is classified as experimental research using a quantitative research methodology. Data collection techniques included documentation, tests, instrument trials, and validity checks.The results showed an effect of using 3D block teaching aids with the CTL learning model on students' conceptual understanding ability. This can be seen from the average posttest score of the experimental class, which was 81.5, higher than the control class average of 66.5. Furthermore, the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample t-test obtained a calculated t-value of 3.670, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.900, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, the use of 3D block teaching aids with the CTL learning model has a positive effect on students' conceptual understanding ability in the topic of cuboids.
