<![CDATA[A culture of literacy in schools requires a supportive environment consciously built by the entire school community. This study aims to describe the condition of the literacy ecosystem at SMPN 02 Paninggaran, identify challenges faced, and map potential development opportunities. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that the school has a regular reading program, an active library, and strong leadership support. However, literacy development still faces obstacles such as low student interest in reading, the lack of a School Literacy Team, limited variety of reading materials, and minimal parental involvement. On the other hand, the principal's commitment, teacher dedication, available facilities, and openness to digital innovation represent potential opportunities that can be optimized. With program strengthening and collaboration between various parties, SMPN 02 Paninggaran has the opportunity to build a stronger and more sustainable literacy ecosystem.]]>
