<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to examine how teachers at Rumah Al-Qur'an At-Taisir, Veteran, East Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, are motivating students to learn to read the Qur'an. The low level of students' interest in learning to read the Al-Qur'an, despite the Ummi method being used in the learning process, is the background of this study. This study employs a field research design and a qualitative methodology. Teachers and students who served as research subjects were observed, interviewed, and documented in order to gather the data. Data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing make up the data analysis technique. According to the study's findings, teachers can boost students' interest in learning to read the Al-Qur'an by motivating them, using the Ummi method, praising and rewarding them, employing suitable teaching techniques, and creating a welcoming classroom. Adequate learning facilities and certified Ummi teachers are examples of supporting factors; student ability differences, a lack of parental supervision, and poor focus during learning activities are examples of inhibiting factors. According to the study's findings, teachers have a significant impact on students' motivation to learn how to read the Al-Qur'an in non-formal Islamic educational environments.]]>
