Students' interest in learning Biology plays a crucial role in achieving meaningful learning outcomes. However, students' learning interest at SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi remains relatively low despite the implementation of various learning strategies by Biology teachers. This study aims to describe the Biology learning strategies implemented by teachers and to examine the level of students' interest in learning Biology at SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey design. The population consists of all Grade X and XI students and Biology teachers, with total sampling applied to include all members of the population. Data are collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze the data. The study is expected to provide a comprehensive description of the implementation of Biology learning strategies and the level of students' learning interest. The findings are expected to serve as valuable references for teachers and schools in evaluating and improving learning strategies that can effectively enhance students' interest in Biology learning, thereby contributing to the improvement of Biology education quality.
