This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) model in improving the narrative speaking skills of eighth-grade students at SMP BP Al-Muthohar. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through a speaking performance test and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the paired sample t-test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the students' mean score increased from 51.72 to 66.72. The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the N-Gain score of 0.3084 was classified as moderate. These findings indicate that the Think Pair Share (TPS) model is effective in improving the narrative speaking skills of eighth-grade students at SMP BP Al-Muthohar.
