<![CDATA[This study employed a qualitative research method, using a quasi-experimental approach. The variables in this study were the independent variable—the learning model—and the dependent variable—the pupils’ learning outcomes. The population for this study comprised all Year 5 pupils at UPTD Di SD Negeri III Pido. The sample consisted of all 22 Year 5 pupils at UPTD Di SD Negeri III Pido. The researcher collected data using tests and questionnaires. 90 per cent of pupils’ responses fell into the ‘very satisfactory’ category. Furthermore, in the data analysis, the pre-test score obtained before the intervention was 60.18, whilst the average post-test score after the intervention was 83.00. Based on the above data, the researcher concluded that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted, meaning that the media-based learning model using light properties teaching aids has an effect on pupils’ learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for Year 5 at UPTD Di SD Negeri III Pido.]]>
