<![CDATA[As the primary foundation of Islamic teachings, the concept of tawadhu' (humility) plays a significant role in shaping social ethics and human character. In the modern era, characterized by the growing influence of hedonistic culture a lifestyle oriented toward material pleasure, luxury, and self-image the value of tawadhu' has become increasingly essential as a moral and spiritual counterbalance. Accordingly, this study addresses the question of how the values of tawadhu' in the Qur'an can be internalized as a solution to the influence of hedonistic culture on both personal and social life. The study aims to examine the meaning of tawadhu' in the Qur'an and to explain its role as a fundamental virtue capable of mitigating the negative impacts of hedonism. This research employs a thematic Qur'anic exegesis (tafsir maudhu'i) approach using library research methods. The analysis focuses on Qur'anic verses related to tawadhu', namely Q.S. Al-Isra' (17:24, 17:37), Al-Furqan (25:63), Ash-Shu'ara' (26:215), and Al-Hijr (15:88), with primary reference to Al-Qur'an dan Tafsirnya published by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. The findings reveal that tawadhu' is not merely a theological value but also serves as a foundation of social ethics that fosters simplicity, empathy, and self-restraint in response to hedonistic culture. The internalization of tawadhu' contributes to the development of balanced character grounded in Qur'anic values. This study recommends strengthening the internalization of tawadhu' through education, family, and religious outreach (da'wah), while encouraging future field-based research to examine its practical implementation in society.]]>
