<![CDATA[This study is motivated by the importance of stylistic analysis in uncovering the relationship between linguistic form and theological messages in the Qur’an. The theme of sin and forgiveness is one of the central themes in the Qur’an, conveyed through language choices that are rich in meaning, persuasive, and aesthetically pleasing. This study aims to analyze the stylistic forms used in the representation of sin and forgiveness in Surah Ghāfir using Geoffrey Leech’s stylistic approach. This study is a qualitative, literature-based research employing text analysis. The research data consists of 21 verses in Surah Ghāfir that thematically address the concepts of sin and forgiveness, including 17 verses on sin and 4 verses on forgiveness. The analysis was conducted based on lexical, syntactic, rhetorical, semantic, and pragmatic aspects. The results indicate that the representation of sin is constructed through diction signifying disbelief, polytheism, rejection of the truth, and moral deviance, and is reinforced by causal structures and rhetorical antithesis. Meanwhile, the representation of forgiveness is conveyed through diction that emphasizes mercy, repentance, and seeking forgiveness, and is reinforced by linguistic strategies that foster hope and spiritual optimism. These findings indicate that the stylistics of Surah Ghāfir serve not only as an aesthetic element but also as an instrument for conveying theological messages and moral education.]]>
