Today's young generation is referred to as digital natives, a generation closely associated with the use of digital information technology and social media. Those in this generation who are pursuing education are called digital native learners, who have different characteristics and needs from previous generations. To accommodate their characteristics and needs and advance education in the digital age, it is necessary to renew educational methods, namely those based on digital information technology (electronic teaching). Catechesis, as a form of faith education, is no exception to the need for such renewal. Through the digitisation of catechetical content and methods, the Church reaches out to, embraces, and guides the digital native generation to an understanding of the Word of God and the teachings of the Church. Digital catechesis is clear evidence that the Church is realising the adage Ecclesia Semper Reformanda in this digital age. Using qualitative library research methods, the team of authors compiled this paper with the aim of stating that digital catechesis is a tangible manifestation of Ecclesia Semper Reformanda for the digital native generation. The adage Ecclesia Semper Reformanda states that the Church is constantly renewing itself according to the needs of the times, including the digital age.
