This study examines the integration of the Rabu Wekasan tradition as a media strategy to address low levels of religious moderation literacy in formal education, amid rampant intolerance and the minimal use of local wisdom, such as this Javanese acculturative ritual. The objectives are to analyze the values of wasathiyyah (tolerance, balance, non-violence) in this tradition, to design a model for integrating wasathiyyah into the Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum, and to formulate policy recommendations for educators. A systematic literature review was conducted through literature reflection and thematic content analysis to synthesize data from journals, books, and Ministry of Religious Affairs documents. The main findings show that Rabu Wekasan is rich in values of moderation, cooperation, and inclusive friendship, as well as in the transformation of the Wali Songo into Islamic practices across the archipelago. The significance of this research lies in its conceptual model, which can be replicated to support deradicalization, harmonize the 2025-2045 National Development Plan and Pancasila, and strengthen the moderate character of the younger generation.
