Lettuce is a widely consumed vegetable in Indonesia. One method of cultivating lettuce is using hydroponics with a floating raft system, and further improvement can be achieved by applying an electromagnetic field. This study aims to determine the effect of electromagnetic field variations on lettuce growth, measured by the number of leaves, root length, fresh weight, and dry weight. A solenoid was used as the source of the electromagnetic field, with three treatments: T0 without an electromagnetic field, T1 with 0.00027 Tesla, and T2 with 0.00047 Tesla. The research employed a completely randomized design with three treatments and five replications. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and LSD 5% test. The results showed that the application of an electromagnetic field significantly affected all observed variables, with the T2 treatment producing the best results: an average of 11.7 leaves, root length of 35.8 cm, fresh weight of 114.53 grams, and dry weight of 12.56 grams.
