<![CDATA[This Research aimed to describe the pattern of Gemawan movement, as one of Non Governmental Organization in Kalimantan Barat Province. Gemawan has been active for more than 20 years in empowering Kalimantan Barat. There is an ever changing pattern in Gemawan’s movement towards strengthening civil society in Kalimantan Barat. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research method is used because it wants to get purely research yield. This research avoid desugned and conditioned for an experiment. Gemawan as an NGO in Kalimantan Barat, till now on exist, because it uses a pattern of movement that is always changing, in empowering towards civil society in Kalimantan Barat. The fluctuate dirention movement patterns, occur due to internal and external factors at Gemawan. Changing movement patterns, mostly due to external factors. That is, according to issues and requests from donors who fund projects. That is, according to issues and requests form donors who fund projectactivities. No wonder Gemawan does not have any special issues related to the environment,women, democracy and others. Gemawan is like a one-stop that has a lot of good (issues), so that it can offer any project to donor agencies. Going forward, Gemawan must start working more specifically on issues that are in line with Gemawan’s vision and mission. And then. Strong in the political field, economically independent and characterized by local culture. The theree programs are in accordance with the spirit of the Tri Sakti. The spirit and slogan of GMNI is the origin of the founders of Gemawan.]]>
