<![CDATA[Background: Low Back Pain (LBP) is a musculoskeletal disorder in the lumbar region that is influenced by a combination of individual and work factors, especially exposure to non-ergonomic postures, prolonged static work, repetitive movements, and long work durations. The work of garment tailors is included in the occupational group with these exposure characteristics because work activities are dominated by static sitting positions, trunk flexion, and repetitive hand activities for long periods, thus potentially increasing LBP complaints. The selection of the research location in West Kotamobagu District was based on the existence of active and relatively concentrated garment tailoring businesses/groups, as well as the lack of local data on LBP complaints in this occupational group in the area. This study aims to determine the relationship between age and length of service with LBP complaints in garment tailors in West Kotamobagu District. Methods: This quantitative research with a descriptive analytical design used a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 40 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaire-based interviews with garment tailors as primary data. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis; the relationship between age and length of service with LBP complaints was tested using the chi-square test at a significance level of 5% (α=0.05) using SPSS statistical software. Result: The study showed that there was a significant relationship between age (p=0.032) and length of service (p=0.002) with LBP complaints in garment tailors in West Kotamobagu District.
