This research article aims to examine Islamic education with an eco-theology perspective through the lens of Fiqh al-Biah. Through library research, it was found that Islamic education oriented towards eco-theology with the perspective of Fiqh al-Biah sees that the purpose of education is not only to build a vertical relationship between humans and Allah (hablun min Allah) and social relationships among humans (hablun min al-nas), but also to create a harmonious relationship between humans and nature (hablun ma‘a al-biah). From this perspective, caring for, maintaining, and preserving the environment is part of the moral trust as well as a religious obligation of humans as caliphs on earth. Therefore, Islamic education needs to integrate ecological values into learning activities and the character development process of students so that awareness of environmental preservation grows.
