<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of school environment management and family environment on students’ morality at UPT SMP Negeri 24 Medan, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative (ex-post facto) design. The population consisted of 942 students, while the sample comprised 281 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires using a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results showed that school environment management had a positive and significant effect on students’ morality, with a regression coefficient of 0.300, t-count of 5.718, and significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Family environment also had a positive and significant effect on students’ morality, with a regression coefficient of 0.400, t-count of 7.672, and significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, school environment management and family environment significantly affected students’ morality, as indicated by an F-count of 388.246 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.736, indicating that the two independent variables jointly explained 73.6% of the variation in students’ morality, while the remaining 26.4% was explained by other factors outside the research model. Family environment was the more dominant variable, with a standardized beta coefficient of 0.506 compared with 0.377 for school environment management. These findings indicate that strengthening school management and creating a supportive family environment are important factors in improving students’ morality.]]>
