<![CDATA[This study aimed to examine the relationship between job stress and employee performance at PT Adil Bersama Indra. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants consisted of 38 workshop employees at PT Adil Bersama Indra who were selected using a total sampling technique. Job stress data were collected using a Likert-type psychological scale based on the aspects of job stress proposed by Braham (as cited in Handoyo, 2001), while employee performance data were obtained from the company's performance evaluation records. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed a significant negative relationship between job stress and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.559 and p 0.001. This finding indicates that higher levels of job stress are associated with lower employee performance, and vice versa. The coefficient of determination was R² = 0.313, indicating that job stress was associated with 31.3% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 68.7% was associated with other factors not examined in this study. Based on the comparison between the hypothetical and empirical means, the level of job stress was classified according to the categorization criteria used in the study, whereas the company's performance documentation showed an average employee performance score of 67.04, which was classified as sufficient. Therefore, the research hypothesis stating that there is a significant negative relationship between job stress and employee performance at PT Adil Bersama Indra was accepted.]]>
