<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well Al-Ishlah Junior High School students write news using the Two Still Two Separate learning approach. The methodology used was an experiment on the design of unequal control groups. The purpose of sampling is to be used to make research samples, which include class VII B for the control group and class VII A as the experimental group. Pre- and post-tests were used to collect data, while t-tests, homogeneity tests, and normality tests were used for analysis. Ho was rejected and H₁ was accepted, showing substantial differences between the experimental and control classes, according to a statistical analysis using an independent sample t-test, which showed a t count of 0.167 > t of a table of 0.000. With an average post-test score of 80.17, the experimental class's ability to compose news was significantly higher than the control group that obtained a score of 73.21. The organization of the text, the content of the news, the use of language, vocabulary, and the neatness of writing all showed improvement. The Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) learning model has also been proven to increase student activity, the ability to discuss, think critically, and cooperate among students.
