<![CDATA[Chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis often experience anxiety due to the lengthy nature of the therapy, dependence on dialysis machines, and changes in their physical and psychological conditions. Untreated anxiety can affect patient comfort and adherence to the treatment regimen. Classical music therapy is one non-pharmacological intervention that can be used to reduce anxiety. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of classical music therapy on anxiety levels among patients undergoing hemodialysis at Undata Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Palu. A quantitative, quasi-experimental research design was employed, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study sample consisted of 32 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) before and after a 20-minute session of classical music therapy administered during the hemodialysis process. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test with a significance level of p<0.05. The results showed that prior to the intervention, the majority of respondents experienced moderate anxiety, whereas after the classical music therapy, anxiety levels decreased to the mild category. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in anxiety levels before and after the intervention (p<0.05). In conclusion, classical music therapy is effective in reducing anxiety among hemodialysis patients at Undata Regional General Hospital, Palu. ]]>
