<![CDATA[Introduction: Insufficient fluid intake is associated with an increase in one's negative emotions, whereas prevalence of increased anxiety is high among medical students, and could affect their academic performance. This study aims to determine the correlation between the level of daily fluid requirement fulfillment and anxiety level of medical students in Tanjungpura University class 2019. Methods: A cross-sectional analytical research design with research subjects of 78 people recruited via total sampling method. The questionnaires used in this research are the BEVQ-15, translated and modified by the authors and the Indonesian Zung's SAS, both with established validity and reliability. Analysis of the relationship between the 2 variables used the Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient test (non-parametric). Results: Most students (74.4%) had insufficient fluid intake levels; while the average student met 87.3% of their daily fluid requirements. Meanwhile, students’ anxiety level was found to be at a mild (88.5%) and moderate (11.5%) level. The Spearman correlation test showed that the correlation between the level of daily fluid requirement fulfillment and anxiety level of medical students in Tanjungpura University class 2019 had a significance value of 0.580 (p > 0.05). Conclusion: No significant correlation between the level of daily fluid requirement fulfillment and anxiety level of medical students in Tanjungpura University class 2019.]]>
