<![CDATA[Treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) with combination therapy is prone to causing Drug-Related Problems (DRPs). This study aims to evaluate prescribing patterns and their association with the incidence of DRPs among outpatient pulmonary TB patients at X General Hospital in Purbalingga. This retrospective analytical obsevational study used total sampling to analyze 122 prescriptions from Juni to August 2025 using Fisher’s Exact Test . The results showed an average of 6,2 drug items perprescription, with 97,5% of patients experiencing DRP. The most common finding was moderate-level drug interactions (81,6%), the highest incidence of drug interactions was dominated by antituberculosis drugs combined with supportive therapies, such as bronchodilators and antiinflammatory drugs, which can reduce the effectiveness of steroids and increase the risk of heart disease. Bivariate analysis confirmed a significant association between polypharmacy (>3 medication items) and the occurrence of DRPs (p-value = 0,010; RR = 4,958). It was concluded that polypharmacy significantly increases the risk for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis by nearly fivefold, particularly duet o drug interactions.]]>
