Chronic Renal Failure has emerged as one of the most prominent causes of death and suffering in the 21st century. According to WHO figures, 1.2 million people died and 697.5 million people developed chronic kidney failure in 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of hemodialysis therapy compliance to the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure. Chronic renal failure is a clinical condition characterized by decreased kidney function that requires patients to undergo hemodialysis therapy Chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therap y cannot return to their original condition, so compliance in undergoing therapy must be done to achieve a good quality of life. The research design used correlation. The population in this study were all patients in the Hemodialysis Room of RSUD Sekarwangi Kabupaten Sukabumi with a sample of 81 patients through total sampling. Data collection technique was questionnaire. Data analysis used was Chi-Square test. Most patients were compliant in undergoing hemodialysis therapy and had adequate quality of life. The p-value = 0.000 means <0.05, which shows that there is a relationship between hemodialysis therapy compliance and the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure in the Hemodialysis Room of Sekarwangi Hospital, Sukabumi Regency. It is concluded that there is a relationship between hemodialysis therapy compliance and the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure.
